This class has been a real challenge and opened my eyes to things I have never thought of before and it's so refreshing." - MG, Fall 2020

REFLECTIONS
Per my teaching philosophy, relationality is crucial toward learning and this is demonstrated in the individual communications, verbal feedback, and formal teaching evaluations shared here. Connecting with students was how I helped them grow and be challenged in their thinking, their praxis, and even their educational goals. As our collaborative agreements attest to, I also value hearing when I can make corrections and I now ensure all my feedback is type rather than hand-written for easier accessibility and also that I create even more materials and pose more questions in class to allow for deeper discussion. The impact of this I can see clearly in the latter teaching evaluations and the strength of student work from the beginning to the end of the semester.
